Guttrolfe were joke glasses that "gurgled" when poured. From (lat.) Gutta, the drop and Guttura, the throat, derives the name of this 4-tubed Guttrolfs: "something drop-like flow into the throat", mostly high-proof. The GLASMUSEUM WERTHEIM owns one of the largest collections from the Roman period to the 19th century .The original of this replica by Ralf Marlok comes from the Spessart, 17.Jhr..The shape of the1-5röhrigen Guttrolfe goes back to the bottle neck melon.
