Dale Chihuly: Glass Object - German/German

One of Harvey K. Littleton's students is the American Dale Chihuly. The glass object you see here is one of Chihuly's earliest works from the 1970s. Today, Chihuly is one of the best-known glass artists in the world. He has become famous above all for his huge, often mystical-looking glass installations, such as the gigantic glass chandeliers floating in the Grand Canal. The production of these oversized glass chandeliers was only possible in collaboration with Venetian master glassblowers.

Chihuly is now one of the most famous glass artists in the world and became famous for above all, his huge, often mystic-looking glass installations, such as the gigantic swimming glass chandeliers in the Grand Canal in Venice. The production of these oversized glass chandeliers was only possible in collaboration with Venetian master glassblowers.
